The Stories We Wear

An exploration into why we take things in or out of our life. What reasoning is good enough, and does knowing anything about the story of a garment change anything?

In this "store," participants could give any garment or take any garment. The only rule was you must write your hopes or wishes for the garment, or write why you wanted to take it.

This was a 3 week installation in the Coulter Gallery at Stanford University.
